Hello There!

When I was just a young, naive, and idealistic little girl, I wanted to be a writer.

I had these big dreams of going to college and graduating with a degree in journalism. I fantasized about have my name stamped across the cover of the next New York Times bestseller. It was a life I wanted to live until I became too senile to remember what a pen was.

Alas, my career path led me down a long, winding road of athletic equipment and NCAA regulations.

For the better part of a decade, all of my short stories, poetry, articles, papers, and everything in between have been sitting around with no one but insects, mice, and the occasional poltergeist to read. The ones that survived all of my moving and the great Anderson Family computer crash of 1998, that is.

So I have decided to post those works here. This, of course, is all against my better judgment as I have learned that there are quite a few people with access to the internet. I also know that most bloggers I admire the most are very, VERY good writers.

I hope you enjoy reading and raping my work as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Please, be gentle.

  1. Where's this writing???

And I'm still on a life-long quest to find something that rhymes with "orange." I'll never give up. ;)

  2. I love this! You are SO much more brave than I am! I wouldn't be about to invite anyone to "rape" what I write... I'm pretty sure the first mean comment I get I'm going to track the person down and egg their car! OK, just kidding... kind of! :)
